Jewelry Care
Most of our jewellery is crafted on a 304/316 stainless steel or brass base and features gold plating. With mindful care, you can significantly extend the life and appearance of your pieces. Please note that gold plating is a surface finish, it is not permanent and will gradually wear over time with use. Our jewellery is tarnish-resistant, and while it holds up well to everyday wear, no plated metal is completely unaffected by water, sweat, or moisture over time.
To keep your pieces looking their best:
- Store in a soft pouch or separate compartments to prevent scratches.
- Wipe with a soft, dry cloth before and after wear.
- Remove before swimming, bathing, washing hands, or any prolonged water exposure.
- Avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, harsh chemicals, and abrasives, apply these before putting on your jewellery.
- Rotate your pieces rather than wearing the same one every day.
- Certain textured, stacked, or high-friction designs may naturally develop slight fading or surface wear at contact points over time. This is a normal characteristic of plated jewellery and can be minimised with mindful wear and storage.
